Foodventure: The Tiramisu Hero
12:05Foodventure is back! It's been months since I've last posted my foodventures, not because I have not been trying anything new but the same old reason that I am too busy. I have been accumulating pictures of food that's really worth the try. I'm so happy my office is located at Jalan Besar which is home to many cafes. The very first cafe I went to during my first week of work was The Tiramisu Hero.
My favourite dish out of all that I have tried so far is the Aglio Olio, which I will usually replace the prawns with mushrooms. Chefchef Curry Baked Rice is another of my favourite, however I suggest sharing it with someone as the portion is quite big and the taste can be overwhelming after a few mouth. If you love anything cheesy, try Jayne Mac & Cheese. However if you can't take anything too cheesy like me, don't order as this is really cheesy. If you have no idea what to order and would like to have something simple, try their Fish & Chips. I love their Truffle Fries! Especially the sauce that comes with it for you to dip the fries in. I tried the Matcha Latte but I didn't like it as the matcha taste is quite mild plus there were lots of Matcha bits residue. If you love tiramisu and have a major sweet tooth, you will probably enjoy eating their Tiramisu which comes in a really cute jar. However the ready made ones are definitely too sweet to my liking.
They allow customization to let you create your very own Tiramisu. You can choose the alcohol, wetness and sweetness level which is a good idea as a gift for someone who loves tiramisu.
